The Challenge

A major Irish bank was embarking on a large-scale digital transformation, with Salesforce positioned as a core platform. At the same time, the organisation was relocating its IT Centre of Excellence from London to Dublin.

While the Talent Acquisition team was experienced, it was London-based and had limited knowledge of the Irish Salesforce market. With demand for Salesforce professionals already high in Dublin, the bank recognised the need for a specialist Business Applications recruitment partner with local market insight and access to experienced candidates.

The Solution

Before taking roles to market, we worked closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers to shape the hiring approach. This included refining job descriptions, defining interview processes and pressure-testing the overall proposition.

We provided detailed market insight on where experienced Salesforce professionals were coming from, the types of products they were working on and the salary and benefits packages being offered by competing employers. This allowed the client to position their roles competitively and make informed decisions before launching the search.

We then led a targeted headhunting campaign focused on senior Salesforce developers with financial services experience, managing the process end to end.

Over an eight-week period, the bank successfully hired four Senior Salesforce Developers who closely matched the technical and sector requirements of the brief.

Despite competing against three other agencies, all Salesforce hires were delivered by us. As a result of the outcome and working relationship, we were subsequently appointed as the bank’s exclusive recruitment partner for Business Applications roles.
